Ubisoft Mainz officially announced the release date of the economic strategy Anno 117: Pax Romana. The game will go on sale on November 13, 2025 and will be available both on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store), and on the consoles of the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S.
Anno 117: Pax Romana unfold in 117 of our era, during the heyday of the Roman Empire. The player assigned the role of the governor who controls two remote provinces – Latsium and Albion. The development of settlements, maintenance of trade, control over resources and interaction with the population are key aspects of the gameplay. In addition to managing the economy, the project promises to focus on the plot component. The player will have to make complex decisions, balancing between political loyalty and personal understanding of order.
The developers emphasize that the new part of the series will retain the characteristic features of the classic gameplay Anno, while proposing a new historical context, previously not affected within the framework of the franchise. Depending on the choice of the player, various approaches to management are possible: through the development of cultural ties, militarization or diplomatic influence.
